I am currently located in a private studio in Denver!

The address is:

3333 S Tamarac Dr, Denver, CO 80231 suite 120

I am located in the Phenix Salon Suites by the Ace Hardware and Benihana. The building has a code panel to get in, so message me when you arrive so I can unlock the door for you to come in!

How Far Out Are You Booked?

My Books usually never close, so I am usually pretty readily available! I work Tuesdays-Saturdays and can get you in on any of those days that I am working!

What Is Your Hourly Rate? Do You Offer Flat Rates?

I am currently $175 an hour. My minimum is $80 for something that takes me 30 minutes or less, with no color or shading. My minimum for the hands and face and other trickier areas is $100.

I only charge you when you are in my chair. As soon as needle hits skin, that’s when I start to count. I do NOT charge you for bathroom breaks or stretch breaks.

I do offer flat rates buy ONLY on MY FLASH. My predrawn flash is where you can catch some of my best deals, so please go look at some of those.

I also do a lot of flash days for insanely good deals, so make sure to keep your eye out for those.

How do I book with you?

You can book with me through the schedule page on my website or by shooting me an email at nicolekendricktattoos@gmail.com. NO TEXT OR CALLS OR DMS ON SOCIAL MEDIA! If you try to contact me anywhere else, I might not see it and won’t reply. I’m not trying to ghost you, (even though I think being an actual ghost would be fun… boo!) I keep track of everything on my email the best.

Remember when booking to give me description of the tattoo you were wanting, your days available, when you want to come in, etc.

Do I Need To Give You A Deposit To Book? What Is A Deposit?

Yes, a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will be required to book an appointment! I can accept a deposit through Venmo, CashApp, PayPal or Zelle. Your $100 deposit goes towards drawing time and your actual design, and also locks in your appointment time. This will ensure no one else can book at your scheduled time and that time is yours.

How my deposits work is at the completion of your tattoo, I take the $100 off the end price of the tattoo. If you are coming in for a big tattoo that took multiple sessions, the deposit will be taken off of the final session.

I understand that life happens, and with that said, I do honor ONE RESCHEDULE without needing another deposit. If you reschedule more than once with me, another $100 deposit will be required to book.

If you are more than 30 minutes late (without notifying me), or are clearly not sober, you may forfeit your deposit. If you think you’ll be late please notify me!

If you do not notify me within 24 hours of your appointment that you need to cancel/reschedule, I consider that a no call, no show and you forfeit your deposit.

How Can I Be Prepared For My Tattoo?

Well first you need to be super excited! But make sure to get a good night’s sleep the night before, avoid alcoholic beverages the day before your appointment and the day of. Eat a good meal before coming in, make sure you are well hydrated. Make sure to please shower and wear deodorant, I am going to be in close proximity to you! Also make sure to wear clothing that makes the area that will be tattooed easily accessible. I usually recommend wearing something you aren’t super attached to, as I might get ink on it.

Please do not come in super sunburned or under the influence of drugs and alcohol

I usually prefer you don’t bring your kids into the studio, so if you can leave your little mogwai at home, I would appreciate it!

You are welcome to bring headphones, a pillow and blanket, a book, a friend. Bringing snacks and sugary beverages and water is always a great idea!

Do You Tattoo Under The Age of 18?

My age limit for tattoos is 16! I WILL NOT TATTOO YOU IF YOU ARE YOUNGER THAN 16! NO EXCEPTIONS! If you are below 18, you will need to have your parent or legal guardian sign for you. That means they will need to be present for the tattoo. You will also need to have some sort of photo ID for yourself, whether that’s a permit, school ID, Passport etc. You will need to have your parent’s ID as well. If your last names do not match, you will also need the birth certificate and any paperwork that states legal guardianship.

I WILL NOT tattoo your hand, face, or neck if you are below the age of 18.

How Can I Pay For My Tattoo?

I accept most forms of payment, however Cash and Zelle are usually my preferred methods. I can take payment through Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, Zelle, Cash and Card.

Please note that Card Payments have a 4% tax fee, and it will bump up the price slightly.

If you are paying with PayPal, please do so through Friends/Family, If you select Business, it takes a chunk out of it.

Can I See My Design Before The Appointment?

I usually don’t show art before the appointment, as I typically don’t start til the week of, sometimes night before or day of. If you are wanting any changes to your design, I can make them at the appointment.

With that said, please be as descriptive as possible and mention any details you want in your design.

Do You Use Numbing Cream?

I can use numbing cream on you if you’d like. I recommend Painless Tattoo numbing cream. When using a cream, make sure to wash the area, shave the area and put a generous amount of numbing cream on, then wrap the area up in cling wrap. You’ll want to leave the numbing cream on for a minimum of 2 hours before the tattoo.

I also have bactine that I can use on you after we’ve already been tattooing. Bactine only works once the skin is broken.

If you have a numbing cream you have that you want to use, notify me! Make sure it is not from a shady supplier or in a suspicious container. Some creams can cause chemical burns to the skin.

Do You Do Coverups?

Yes, I can do more basic to intermediate cover ups. If you are looking to get an old tattoo covered up, I can do an in person consult to see what we are dealing with and see if I feel confident tackling it.

If you are trying to cover up a scar, make sure it is white and there is no pink in there whatsoever. If you tattoo over a scar that isn’t fully healed, it can actually exaggerate the scar and make it more noticable.

Do You Travel or Do Conventions?

I have been dipping my toes more into conventions and I am hoping to do more in the future! If you want to get tattooed by me at a convention. be sure to follow me on social media for updates on conventions.

I haven’t traveled or guest spot out of Colorado yet, but I want to in the future. If I do travel, I will post about it on social media, so be sure to follow for any and all updates!
